The holder is magnetic and attaches to the dashboard. At the top is the magnetic magicMOUNT holder, which can hold your phone via its strong magnets. You can choose to rotate and angle your device as you like. 

A magnet (magicPLATES) must be attached to the back of your smartphone/tablet/GPS in one of the following ways (see also picture no. 5).:

1. Directly on your smartphone / tablet / GPS
2. On the case you are using
3. Inside the case you use

Avoid annoying fines and possible accidents caused by handheld phones.

In the package

• 1 x Scosche magicMOUNT Dash Holder (attaches to dashboard)
• 2 x Scosche magicPLATES magnets (attach to your device)

If you have a phone that supports wireless charging, you can choose to place the magnet under the "wireless charging plate" in your phone - see picture 6 for inspiration. All phones have their wireless charging function located in the middle part of the phone. Instructions are also included in the package you receive.
