This Govee Outdoor Motion Sensor makes it safer and more comfortable to come home when it's dark. The motion sensor can be connected to various compatible Govee light sources, which will then automatically turn on when motion is detected. You can place this sensor exactly where it makes the most sense for you—above the front door, over the garage, at the garden gate, or somewhere else entirely.

Govee has developed this Outdoor Motion Sensor to detect movement up to 8 meters away and within a 120° angle. The sensor is mounted on a 360° rotatable joint, allowing you to adjust its angle and direction as needed. This way, you can create a welcoming and cozy atmosphere for yourself when arriving home in the dark, or for guests during a party, for example. The motion sensor also increases safety and protection against theft, as the light will turn on when it detects a potential intruder.

The sensor is waterproof with an IP65 rating, so you can confidently use it outdoors in all kinds of weather, year-round. It is powered by two CR123A batteries, which can be replaced when they run out.

Setting up the lights and the sensor in the Govee app is super easy.
